  • Where are you located?

We are conveniently located right at the National Harbor Marina! We are docked right next to the Capital Wheel!

  • How many people can ride?

Float Boat 360 has a maximum capacity of 7 people, however we recommend 6 to 7 for a full charter not including your guide.

  • How much does it cost?

Our Float Boat 360 rental is for 2 hours on regular, non-holiday pricing for up to 7 guests at $250 (not including tax).

  • Do I need to make reservations?

Reservations are required. Most warmer weekends we will have staff on hand to take rides in between charters already booked.  Please feel to call us for the day to day or week to week availability.

  • How old do you have to be to ride?

We invite passengers of all ages, however, we do need at least one rider 21 or over.

  • Do you rent by the hour?

We offer a 2-hour rental option for Float Boat 360.

  • Do you have snacks & ice? 

We recommend bringing all food and drinks along with you and your group. We do have a full sized table for eating and drinking and a full sized ice cooler on board.

  • Do you need a license to operate Float Boat 360?

The price of the guide is included in the rental! The guide, allows your party to fully enjoy the experience while having a professional guide you around the National Harbor waterways.

  • Is a deposit required?

100% Deposit is required prior to departure. We have a 72-hour cancellation policy. As long as 72 hours notice is given we will refund 100% of your deposit. If the cancellation falls within 48 hours we will charge the card on file a $100 no show fee. Please see our weather policy regarding same day weather-related issues, our team only can cancel due to weather.

  • Can you rent overnight?

Unfortunately, we do not offer overnight rental.

  • What if it is calling for rain on my Reservation Day?

Regarding Weather, we monitor the weather on an hourly basis.  Our team will make the call if the weather prevents us from getting underway or if we need to adjust the cruise times. The unpredictable nature of our local weather patterns does not allow us to make a call until that day. Team Float Boat will communicate directly to the charter customer if we have a weather event that affects the related charter.

  • Can I bring a Cooler? Drinks? Food?

Float Boat comes equipped with its own cooler and large table area. You can bring ice, cups, drinks, food etc., we do have napkins on board for your group and will have trash bags for you to take out your trash with you from your charter and dispose at the marina trash receptacles.

  • Where are you located? Is there parking?

We are located on the National Harbor Pier directly across from the Capital Wheel Ferris Wheel and behind the paddle boat rentals. On site parking and parking garages are located within walking distance.We are also accessible via transport from the National Harbor Circulator that will transport from MGM please check times for shuttle https://media.nationalharbor.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/07170113/Circulator-1.pdf

We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Gaylord hotel. The closest restaurant to our location is McCormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks.

Remember it is your job to co-ordinate your group to arrive at the same time. If we are requested to wait for a member of your group, then this will cut into your charter time. Please have everyone arrive at least 30 minutes prior to charter at the marina dock location. We will also need time to check everyone in and sign boating safety waivers prior to departure.

  • What documents will I need to bring when I arrive for my trip?

The person renting the boat will need a valid ID along with a matching credit card used to rent the boat. If the name on the credit card does not match the ID we will not allow the charter to continue. Also, everyone over the age of 18 will need to present a valid identification card at check in and review and sign boating safety waivers before riding Float Boat 360.
